CNHI News - Asia Ashley is now the social justice reporter for CNHI newspapers in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. You may remember her from her time at the Champion newspaper.

Georgia Bulletin - Thanks for subscriber Vivian Heard (Pinecrest Academy) for some editorial updates for this pub. This is the official newspaper of the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta. The print edition comes out every other Thursday and is mailed.
GPB
Jeff Hullinger is joining the network as Executive Producer for Local Content working across platforms. Through this new role, he will shine a spotlight on often untold stories and unique lived experiences throughout the state. Hullinger says: "“I’ve had a front row seat to news and sports and everything in between for the last 40 years that I’m grateful for,” said Hullinger. “It really matters to me that people know about and understand where they live. I love this state so much. I’m looking forward to my beginnings at GPB and doing those things that are near to my heart." Hullinger further added that joining GPB provides the opportunity to explore topics through long-form storytelling, where public media excels. “We are defined by shared experiences,” he continued. “I’m really looking forward to telling those stories of community and adding to the great work of GPB.”
Peach Pop 5 - We've added this new podcast into the Leff's Atlanta Media database. Hosted by long-time Atlanta journalist Ryan Dennis, the podcast is a music countdown and entertainment news podcast that goes behind the scenes of Atlanta's blockbuster production scene. Join Ryan for the real inside scoop on celebrity sightings, events, concerts, and more every week on Spotify. Some of the stories featured on the show include a breakdown of the WGA Writer Strike's Impact on Georgia Production, Celebrity Spottings, New Releases, Music Artist of The Week, and our Peach of the Week segment that focuses on community. He's currently looking for a guest for a Hispanic-Latino Heritage story that focuses on the accomplishments of that group for the state.
Peachtree Sports Network has launched statewide on Gray television stations. Find it on channel WPCH 17.2 (along with Comcast and Spectrum cable). It focuses on showcasing live, local sports programming, featuring teams from multiple sports across the state of Georgia. More details from Rough Draft Atlanta.

Urbanize Atlanta - Longtime Atlanta journalist Josh Green (Urbanize Atlanta, Curbed Atlanta, Atlanta magazine, etc.) has just published his second book and first novel, SECRETS OF ASH. Set in ATL and N. GA, the novel was inspired by Green’s years in local media and journalism work covering U.S. military veterans. Green has published fiction widely, and his book of short stories was named among the 10 best books of 2013 by legendary Atlanta critic Rebecca Weaver. WABE Radio - Atlanta magazine profiles "Close Look" host Rose Scott. Link.
WCPO Radio/The Quest Atlanta - Thanks to Vivian Heard (Pinecrest Academy) for the suggestion to add this radio station to the Leff's Atlanta Media database. This is a Catholic radio station that broadcasts both local and national programs. It engages all of the Catholic parishes in Atlanta, as well as Catholic schools. Besides Catholics, their listenership includes other Christian audiences, non-Christian audiences, as well as other non-religious people curious about the faith.
