We've got a number of new reporters in Atlanta this month, so I thought I'd share this link again, "How to Sound Like a Local (The Unofficial Pronunciation & Important-Things-to-Know Guide for Reporters New to Atlanta)":

Writer Mickey Goodman has a new book out, MY PURSUIT OF BEAUTY: A COSMETIC CHEMIST REVEALS THE GLITZ, TH GLAM, AND THE BATSH*T CRAZY. It was released in January 2021 as a paperback and print version and was on May 15 as an audio book, and a documentary is debuting at the Sundance Festival. It's about Vince Spinnato, who has created more than 300 beauty and fragrance products for celebrities from Jennifer Lopez to Gwen Stefani to Michael Jordan and many more. This business memoir gives rare insight into what goes into creating consumer products along with sheer determination and talent it takes to compete in that field. More:
