She'll be working with their younger reporter in a mentoring role, still producing stories for their "CSI Atlanta" segment and still anchoring their Noon show (but she won't be on the morning show anymore).

Paola Suro joins as a bilingual (English/Spanish) multimedia journalist. She comes from WCPO in Cincinnati.
Matt Pearl has a new edition of his book, The Solo Video Journalist. What's new? He's completely revamped and expanded the section about online and social media, geared toward thriving in the digital world while still excelling on the air. Check out new chapters called “Career Chronicles,” which cover the increasing options for solo video journalists beyond the traditional paths in broadcast news. He's updated the guidance to adapt to many of the changes in equipment over the last half-decade, namely the rise of phone and DSLR/mirrorless cameras. He's added the MMJ Survey, in which nearly 100 soloists describe what they love – and don’t love – about the job.
