  • Josephine Bennett is the new Director of News and Partnerships

WABE - Check out this new feature I heard about from reporter Molly Samuel. "Sad Food News" is a social media feature following the trials and tribulations of food in local newsrooms.


  • Alex Whittler joins as general assignment reporter. She worked more recently in Richmond, Va.

  • Brian Hill joins as general assignment reporter. He comes to us from WTKR TV in Virginia

  • We've added Sports Producer and Reporter Kelly Price into our database.

  • Anchor/Reporter Marissa Mitchell departs.


  • Adam Harding departs the station. Adam Harding, not Adam Murphy. Apparently, there's been some confusion. He's now with WNBC TV in NYC. Watch:

  • A new News Director replaces the departing Steve Doerr. Matt King is the new guy in charge, joining from WCNC in Charlotte, NC.


  • Wes Rodda joins as Director of Marketing

  • Atlanta & Company is on hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Looks like the station will add another news show at noon.

  • The Georgia Entertainment PR Alliance held its first event, focused on teaching actors, musicians and producers the basics of public relations.

  • Congrats to all the agencies recognized by as the top PR agencies in Atlanta.
