Ellie Hensley, who's been covering the entertainment industry for the paper for last few years, is departing for a position with Allied Integrated Marketing. Allied describes itself as "the world's leading entertainment, culture and lifestyle agency." During her ABC tenure, she covered healthcare in addition to entertainment. She tweets that she'll join AIM in an Account Executive position.

Appen Newspapers - Carson Cook joins as a reporter focusing on Johns Creek.

After ten years on the PeachBuzz beat, Jennifer Brett shifts to the Enterprise group. Ten years and 1000 Peach Buzz columns.
Former AJC reporter Katie Leslie, who's been in DC reporting for the Dallas Morning News for several years, is taking a position as an investigative producer for the NBC TV affiliate in DC. She says she'll be behind the scenes but who doesn't think they'll put her on the air eventually?
Covington News - Jackie Gutknecht is the managing editor.
Forsyth County News - Brian Paglia is the new editor of the paper.
Georgia Public Broadcasting
Fenly Foxen is producing for the daily On Second Thought show.
Georgia Report - Tom Crawford announced this month that he's "in the final stages of cancer and [is] under home hospice care. For that reason, we are suspending operation of The Georgia Report after more than 18 years of publication." The AJC's Jim Galloway writes that "Crawford began his career as a reporter for The Montgomery Advertiser, then the Marietta Daily Journal and the Atlanta Journal."
Points North - The magazine has ceased publication.

WAGA - Marc Teichner celebrates 20 years with Good Day Atlanta.

WMLB
John Lemley departs as the station closes its doors. He's been on Atlanta radio since 1997, first on WABE and most recently taking his City Cafe to WMLB. His last show aired on May 13. But he's not slowing down and is open to bringing City Cafe to a smart radio station in town.
He's signed on to work with Nancy Grace as an investigative reporter on her new Sirius XM Radio show, Crime Stories.
Look for his writing as well in Our Town Gwinnett magazine. His column, "A Sprig of Moss," focuses on Gwinnett county's historic cemeteries.
He'll be the online anchor for a new online TV news roundtable program called "Momentum" that will address topics affecting Atlanta.
Finally, he's working on podcasts in food, genealogy, and the paranormal.
WSB Radio
Pete Combs returns after several years working for KOMO Radio in Seattle. In addition to working with WSB, he'll also be reporting for ABC Radio. Listen for him in the afternoons and evenings.

WSB TV - Karen Minton marked 30 years with the station this month.

Look out for "The A Scene," a new feature focusing on entertainment.
Ashley Johnson joins the station as a reporter on the 11 p.m. show.
Wes Peery joins as a weekend meteorologist. He joins from KOLR/KOZL TV in Springfield, MO. Wes is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
